A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer

Sunday 1st March, 7pm, The Victoria Cafe, Market Street

A reading of a groundbreaking collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights, all devoted to the V-Day movement. No constructs, restrictions, or rules, these writings are inspired, funny, angry, heartfelt, tragic, and beautiful. Together they create a true and profound portrait of how violence against women affects every one of us. ‘A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer’ is a call to the world to demand an end to violence against women. The event features music from the University of St Andrews’ very own Hummingbirds and a speaker from East Fife Women’s Aid.
