V-Day: Until the Violence Stops

Extraordinarily empowering and heartbreakingly funny, the Sundance favourite and Emmy Award-winning ‘VDay: Until the Violence Stops’ chronicles how The Vagina Monologues grew into V-Day, the international grassroots movement to stop violence against women and girls. Learn about some of the women and girls around the world that V-Day empowers and supports, including the ‘comfort women’ of the Philippines and girls saved form female circumcision in Kenya. It can’t be guaranteed that you won’t cry but it can be guaranteed that you will learn just how strong women can be and why it is we MUST make a stand against violence. More than just a group testimonial, ‘VDay: Until the Violence Stops’ is a moving celebration of community awareness that leaves us with the hope that change can happen.
